We headed downtown for a wonderful exploration of the Arts hub in our Calgary community! We spent the morning doing movement and drama activities with Carmen (so much fun!). After lunch with our friends in Miss Gilbank's room, we got to tour with John and explore around the Jack Singer lobby and floors. We searched out and drew things we found interesting, and tried to find a mysterious time capsule that will be opened in 2085! We finished our day meeting a collaborative artist and music composer duo in their art installation at Arts Commons. We got to ask them questions about their work, and we did a collaborative dots and lines activity in our journals with them. Check out what they are doing here (link). Huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who joined us!
