After editing our morning message for tricky short vowels (e, i, and u are hardest for most of us), we enjoyed some buddy and puppet reading time. Continuing our colour inquiry in science, we loved exploring the challenge: how many different colours can you mix? We only used the primary colours, white, and black, but the students were creating dozens of beautiful and unique hues. After snack the students had French with Mme. Pallesen. We began learning a new poem/song, "I Can Sing a Rainbow," then finished our morning busting a serious move at a dance party with grade four buddies!

- Scholastic Flyer (please return by Tuesday if interested in ordering)
- Apologies that most home reading bags are still in the classroom! We had a last-minute switch around our phys ed time and didn't change books at the end of the day as we usually do.

Daily Challenge
Mixing colours is a bit like cooking: combining ingredients to create something new and wonderful. Do you remember a "recipe" for a favourite colour you mixed? What would you name that color?
