This morning we edited our message for some very useful word wall words (that we are trying to spell conventionally in our writing on a regular basis!). We finished up this week's literacy centers, and the students got to play the spoons in French! Very fun and exciting! We finished the morning with PoWer Hour, and a little time afterward to share what we'd learned. Have a great weekend!

Please and Thank You / Volunteer Opportunities
- We will be continuing literacy centers in our smaller groups as last week was successful for both classes. Volunteer support is always greatly appreciated! Our class is doing literacy centers Monday 1:00 - 1:45, Tuesday 1:30 - 2:15, Wednesday 10:45 - 11:30, Thursday 1:30 - 2:15, and Friday 9:15 - 10:00. Please email me ([email protected]) if any of these times work…but drop-ins are always welcome, too!
- We would love to have morning reading volunteers to share books with students one-on-one, from 8:30-9:00 any day that it works for you!
- Thank you SO much for all of the help and support you consistently offer. I am amazed by (and extremely grateful for) the volunteer response we get in this classroom!

This week we focused on the 'pinchy' sounding ou and ow chunks. Can you create a full sentence using as many ow and ou words as possible?
