Reminders**
- We will be going on a walking field trip to Fish Creek Park on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 13! We will be meeting a local entomologist who is working with Friends of Fish Creek to explore how ants help the plant life in Fish Creek Park. Please email Melissa ([email protected]) if you are able to volunteer on this learning experience.
- Library books are now due back. Please ensure that all library books have been returned or paid for. I will be contacting families with overdue books sometime this week.
- Now that the weather is nicer outside, please send your child ready to spend some time outdoors. This could include: sunscreen, hats or sunglasses.
Words of the Week
Each week we will focus on a set of high frequency words that we are using in our poems and morning message. Feel free to practice these and look for them in your own books! For the remainder of the year we will be reviewing all sight words and sound chunks we have explored already.
