We started our day with the Who Do You Tell program. After recess we learned about translating repeating patterns. We had a lot of fun turning our repeating core into favourite foods, animal sounds, body actions, and even musical notes! We shared a beautiful book called, "I Wonder," then had fun playing a ringette variation of squirrels and nuts in phys ed. In the afternoon the students made Iris videos in French. We did a "see, think, wonder" thinking discussion about the cover and title of "The North Star," then shared the beautiful story about finding your own journey. We finished our day learning about zen doodling, and really enjoyed some quiet time creating repeating pattern doodles.
